Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Heino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chok rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heino comes into the arena with Caesars - Jerk It Out blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heino shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
rivera gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Heino fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Heino fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but rivera avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pekka Heino. That's going to take a lot out of him.
rivera throws a nice head kick!

rivera tries a head kick but it misses.
Heino attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Heino fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but rivera avoids it really well and circles away.
rivera doesn't manage to clinch there - Heino circles away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Heino pushes rivera up against the cage in a clinch.
rivera goes for a takedown attempt but Heino pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from rivera. No joy for Heino on that attempt.

rivera throws a leg kick
and Heino counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A head kick by rivera misses
and Heino counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heino moves in looking to clinch but rivera pushes him off.
rivera throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Heino.

Heino gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Heino is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pekka Heino dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Heino lands with an uppercut that bounces rivera off the cage and back into rage.
Pekka Heino is winning the standup battle so far.
Heino shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says rivera as he avoids it easily.

and Heino counters with a nice double leg into side control. rivera won't be happy with that.

Heino tries for a kimura but rivera is defending well.

Heino is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. rivera looks calm but he's in trouble here. Heino gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. rivera is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Heino lets go of the hold and rivera can pop his arm back in it's socket.
