Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between jeff quaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and scott tremmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, jeff quaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, scott tremmer! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! tremmer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. quaker tries for a takedown but tremmer circles away easily and tremmer counters with a shoot takedown. quaker fights it but they end up in guard. quaker pulls tremmer in close to his closed guard and prevents tremmer from doing any damage or advancing position. quaker trying to keep a closed guard but tremmer is proving a slippery customer.
tremmer wants to pass the guard but quaker is keeping the position. quaker is trying to keep tremmer in close.
quaker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. quaker punching from the bottom. tremmer wants to pass the guard but quaker is keeping the position. quaker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. quaker tries to clinch up and tremmer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. quaker moves into range and clinches up with tremmer. tremmer has quaker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. quaker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. tremmer trying to stall but quaker improves his position.

He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of quaker, into his guard. quaker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. quaker darts in and clinches tremmer up against the cage. tremmer wants to break the clinch but can't.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. tremmer works his way back into a safe position though. quaker looking to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. quaker misses with a takedown attempt and tremmer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for jeff quaker. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. tremmer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. quaker swivels though and keeps the full guard. tremmer trying to control the position from guard on top but quaker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. tremmer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. tremmer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. tremmer wants to pass the guard but quaker is keeping the position. quaker is looking for a triangle but tremmer pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. quaker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but tremmer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. tremmer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. quaker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. tremmer sitting in guard here, content to control. tremmer wants to stand but quaker is controlling his posture from full guard. quaker throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. tremmer trying to control the position from guard on top but quaker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. quaker looking for subs off his back but tremmer has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. quaker regains half guard. quaker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of tremmer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take tremmer's back! Good control from quaker. quaker misses with an elbow to the head. tremmer is taking damage to the body and head. quaker has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. quaker wants to control but tremmer manages to buck him off and is now in quaker's guard! Nice work there by tremmer! quaker wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. quaker is trying to control the position but tremmer postures up. quaker working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because tremmer has passed into half guard!
quaker is looking for a sweep. tremmer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. quaker regains full guard. Nicely done. tremmer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. tremmer advances to half guard. quaker gets back to full guard.
tremmer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. quaker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

A close second round but scott tremmer will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

quaker stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows tremmer to get to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. tremmer tries to score a power double leg takedown but quaker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten tremmer somewhat.

He's pushing on tremmer's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. quaker is staying active underneath tremmer, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. quaker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of tremmer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take tremmer's back! quaker has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, tremmer has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
