Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bjorn Vegard! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miles shoots in but no luck this time. Miles has a takedown stuffed. Vegard leaves Miles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Master Miles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vegard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Miles shoots in but Vegard avoids the takedown attempt easily. Vegard throws a right hand that Miles ducks under and follows up with a left that Miles also avoids with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vegard with a lazy takedown attempt and Miles counters with a shoot takedown. Vegard fights it but they end up in guard. Vegard tries to land a sweep but no joy. Vegard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Vegard should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miles working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vegard's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Vegard must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Vegard trying to control but Miles is working from the bottom. Vegard passes Miles's left leg - he's now in half guard. Vegard tries to stand but can't do so whilst Miles controls his leg. Vegard is trying to control. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A nice leg kick lands there from Vegard. A combination from Vegard does no damage. Vegard lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Vegard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miles's guard. Vegard tries to free his leg and advance position but Miles is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vegard landing some decent shots from guard. Miles escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vegard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Vegard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vegard has managed to get both his arms back between Miles's legs - danger averted. Miles has his foot on Vegard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miles is working hard here to advance position. Vegard can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Miles is looking to escape.

Vegard is landing with some decent strikes but Miles is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Miles sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
