The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pacquiao is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ang has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pacquiao frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Pacquiao throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ang was covering up waiting for the punch and Pacquiao finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ang tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The referee asks Pacquiao politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pacquiao prefers to stall for the moment though.
Ang is breathing heavily.
Pacquiao has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ang is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pacquiao yanks on the arm and Ang is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pacquiao.
