PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minato Namakazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevens comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Stevens has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Minato Namakazi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namakazi throws a right and a left that Stevens avoids nicely.
Stevens throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Namakazi counters with a left and a right that stings Stevens.
Stevens is breathing heavily.
Namakazi tries to clinch but Stevens is having none of it.
Namakazi shoots in and drives through. Stevens sprawls well.
A thudding body kick lands there by Namakazi!
Namakazi lands with a slapping head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Namakazi.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Namakazi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Donk. Namakazi catches Stevens right on the button with a cross.

Namakazi shoots for a takedown but Stevens saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oh Stevens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
James Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minato Namakazi.
Namakazi feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Stevens crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
