PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avon Stringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Bienvenueve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stringer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Loner. Bienvenueve is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bounty Killer by Depthcharge. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stringer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stringer is breathing heavily.
Stringer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bienvenueve throws out the jab.
Bienvenueve lands a left and a right that send Stringer crashing to the mat, dazed. Bienvenueve thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Stringer is rocked!
It looks like Avon Stringer has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bienvenueve lands a brutal uppercut that launches Stringer off his feet! Stringer tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
