Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keenan Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Bobby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by Rastaman Chant. Bobby has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keenan Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricky Bobby! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn moves in looking to clinch but Bobby pushes him off. Bobby closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Penn pushes Bobby off looking to stand but Bobby dives back in and keeps control.
Penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bobby is working away from the top position though. Bobby throwing shots but Penn is blocking nicely. Bobby is looking to take a break and control but Penn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Penn is looking to improve his position.
Bobby is thwarting Penn's attempts to control the position. Penn won't allow Bobby to pass to mount.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Penn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bobby. Bobby shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Penn as he avoids it easily. Bobby shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Penn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bobby has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bobby looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn is striking off his back. Bobby thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Penn is trying to get back to full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bobby trying to mount his opponent but Penn defends it. Bobby gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Bobby gets caught flat footed, as Penn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Penn prevents Bobby from getting back to his feet. Bobby can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Penn controls the pace. Penn with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn stands up over Bobby, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Penn drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bobby dives on top into guard. Bobby postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Penn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bobby, into his guard. Penn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bobby looks gassed! Bobby wants to get back to his feet but Penn is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Penn thows a big elbow that misses. Penn working some strikes from top position. Penn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bobby on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Bobby is retaining full guard. Bobby wriggles free and stands up. Penn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Penn lands strikes from half guard. Penn thows a huge punch but Bobby dodges it nicely.
Bobby keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bobby manages to escape and get back to his feet! Penn misses with a series of wild punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn tries to clinch but Bobby is having none of it. Penn shoots in and bounces Bobby off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bobby wants to get back to his feet but Penn is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Penn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bobby's head. Penn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Penn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Keenan Penn will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Penn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Penn trying to control from Bobby's half guard. Bobby has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Penn throwing strikes from guard but Bobby blocks nicely. Penn trying to control the position from guard on top but Bobby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Penn throws a strike but Bobby rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Bobby advances position into side control! Penn struggling a bit here. Bobby trying to control the position but Penn is working away. Penn is looking for a sweep. Bobby has hold of Penn's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Penn seems comfortable defending it but Bobby has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Penn is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Penn is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bobby couldn't care less - he's delighted!
