Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simo Hayha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Training Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hayha might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bück Dich. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simo Hayha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Training Partner! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partner gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hayha with a flurry of punches that miss. Partner seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Partner keeping moving, preventing Hayha from controlling successfully. Partner working a defensive guard here.
Hayha trying to control but Partner is working from the bottom. Partner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Partner keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayha is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Training Partner. Partner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hayha sprawls well. Hayha wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Partner gets slowly back to his feet. Partner tries for a takedown but Hayha circles away easily and Hayha counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hayha works his way into side control. Hayha in side control, throwing shots but Partner defends. Partner is trying to control Hayha's posture but Hayha avoids it. Partner is not content to let Hayha control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Partner tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Partner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Partner is trying to improve his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Partner drives through and clinches with Hayha against the cage.
Partner breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Partner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Hayha misses. Partner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hayha paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A head kick misses from Partner. Partner shoots in and bounces Hayha off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hayha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Partner looks like he's trying to stand up.

Hayha seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Partner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Partner is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simo Hayha dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Partner shoots in for a double leg but Hayha sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hayha scores with a takedown into Partner's guard. Hayha wants to control from the top but Partner keeps moving. Hayha throws a big right hand that misses. Hayha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Partner is keeping the position for now. Partner trying to keep a closed guard but Hayha is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Partner is on top in guard.
Partner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Partner controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hayha keeping moving, preventing Partner from controlling successfully. Partner wants to pass the guard but Hayha is keeping the position. Partner is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Training Partner. Partner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayha moves out of range of the body kick from Partner.
Hayha fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Partner dives in and grabs Hayha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hayha pushes down on Partner's head and hops out. Partner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Partner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hayha not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Partner is pushing down on Hayha's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hayha is fighting to maintain full guard but Partner has managed to sneak the leg through. Partner wants to get back to his feet.
Partner content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Partner wants to stand up but Hayha is controlling the position.
Hayha won't allow Partner to pass to mount. Partner stands up out of the half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Partner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hayha was well out of range. Poor timing from Partner. Partner forces Hayha back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Training Partner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Partner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hayha sprawls well initially but Partner persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Partner thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Partner not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hayha trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayha keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Partner is taking a breather. Hayha says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Partner is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayha trying to control here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Partner. Partner wants to control but Hayha is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayha trying to remain calm as Partner controls from the top position. Hayha prevents Partner from moving into mount. Partner working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hayha wants to control but Partner postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayha prevents Partner from improving position. Partner content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Partner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hayha is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hayha pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Partner with a lazy takedown attempt and Hayha counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Partner! Partner wants to control but Hayha is having none of it. Partner can't escape the position.
Hayha throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Partner because Hayha loaded up on that one. Partner keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Partner tries to hold on but Hayha postures up. Hayha with a couple of short strikes. Partner wants to hold on but Hayha pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Training Partner. I think Partner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
