Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stuey Ungar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by Spoilin For A Fight . Ungar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Paper Planes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Stuey Ungar has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stuey Ungar! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Ungar. Mir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ungar swats him away and circles back towards the center. A chopping leg kick lands by Ungar. Ungar misses with a looping left. Ungar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mir at a distance.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ungar. That's going to slow Mir down. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mir throws a body punch but Ungar moves out of range. Ungar misses with a head kick.
Mir moves in looking to clinch but Ungar pushes him off. Ungar jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Frank Mir has been cut. Stuey Ungar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mir lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ungar throws a head kick but Mir moves out of range.
Mir will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mir avoids the body shot from Ungar.
Mir throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ungar throws a head kick but Mir moves out of range.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ungar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir scores with a takedown into Ungar's guard. Mir is breathing heavily. Ungar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mir wants to control from the top but Ungar keeps moving. Ungar managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mir is working Ungar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ungar can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ungar wants to sweep but no luck. Mir controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mir trying to control the position from guard on top but Ungar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mir thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mir trying to control but Ungar is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ungar wants to sweep but no luck. Mir throwing strikes from guard but Ungar blocks nicely. Ungar keeping moving, preventing Mir from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ungar takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A combination from Ungar does no damage. Ungar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mir throws a wild body kick that Ungar sees coming a mile off. Ungar feints and then cracks Mir's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mir down. Ungar tries to work over Mir's front leg with a kick but Mir checks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ungar was well out of range. Poor timing from Mir. Ungar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ungar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ungar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mir fails with the takedown. Mir shoots in for a takedown but Ungar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ungar attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ungar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mir. That did some damage! Ungar cracks Mir with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ungar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A slapping leg kick lands for Ungar.
Ungar keeps Mir at a distance using the push kick. Ungar lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mir will feel that in the morning. Mir is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ungar. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stuey Ungar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Mir's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mir takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ungar throws a right and a left that Mir avoids nicely. Mir misses with a takedown attempt - Ungar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mir looks to score with a jab to the body but Ungar is just out of range. Mir darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Mir moves in looking to clinch but Ungar pushes him off. Mir chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ungar can pounce on him.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ungar throws a body kick that misses. Ungar lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ungar dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mir. That did some damage! Ungar with a nice cross.
Frank Mir's cut is getting worse. Ungar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ungar throws a front kick that sends Mir stumbling back into the cage. Ungar lands with a nice body kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A slapping body kick lands there for Ungar. Mir takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Frank Mir's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Ungar has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ungar feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mir's calf. Ungar lands a head kick!
A head kick misses from Ungar. Ungar lands a big head kick that sends Mir tumbling to the mat! Ungar takes a step backwards and waves Mir back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mir is rocked!
Jeez, Frank Mir's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Mir's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Stuey Ungar!
