Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nic Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahut Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nic Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mahut Uno! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uno moves into range and clinches up with Bravo. Knees in the clinch landing for Uno.
Bravo prevents a takedown attempt there.
Uno gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Uno avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bravo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Uno trying to control but Bravo is working from the bottom. Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bravo can't keep his opponent in guard - Uno advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Uno is keen to just control but Bravo is a slippery customer. Bravo is looking to control Uno's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bravo avoid being mounted? Uno winds up and cracks Bravo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Uno stuns Bravo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Uno tries to clinch up. The fight stays on the outside here - Uno looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Uno fails with a takedown attempt. Bravo forces Uno back against the cage and clinches. Bravo dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Uno lands an elbow just above Bravo 's eye.
It looks like Nic Bravo has been cut. Bravo taking a breather. Bravo is trying to drag Uno to the mat but Uno just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Uno drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nic Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mahut Uno. Bravo prevents the takedown attempt.

Uno looks gassed! Bravo blocks an elbow strike. Bravo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Uno can't get the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Uno wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving. Bravo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bravo working for a triangle but Uno defends it easily.
Bravo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Uno controls the pace. Uno wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving. Uno passes easily into side control. Nice work. Uno has knee on belly momentarily but Bravo bucks him off and regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bravo lands with a few short shots to the body. Bravo is not content to let Uno control the position. Bravo is looking to improve his position.
Bravo works his way to full guard. Good work. Bravo wants to sweep but no luck. Bravo trying to control the position.
Bravo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Uno gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Uno wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mahut Uno dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nic Bravo's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Uno tries to clinch up and Bravo counters with a three punch combo that has Uno backing up. Uno nods at Bravo to acknowledge the strikes. Uno darts in trying to clinch and Uno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bravo on the wrong end of a nice jab. Uno doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bravo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Uno throws an elbow but misses. Uno blocks the elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot in the inside from Bravo. Uno works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Bravo wants to sweep but no luck. Bravo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Uno doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Uno manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Uno trying to control the position from guard on top but Bravo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uno pushing down on Bravo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Uno works his way into side control. Uno is breathing heavily. Bravo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Uno wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Uno is looking for a kimura. He might have it! Mahut Uno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice shot lands for Uno. Bravo works the jab nicely. Uno misses with a takedown attempt and Bravo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Uno clinches with his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Uno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bravo's guard. Uno trying to control the position from guard on top but Bravo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bravo keeping full guard, as Uno tries to pass. Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mahut Uno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nic Bravo's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Bravo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uno circles away quickly and effectively. Bravo connects with a single shot there. Bravo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Bravo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bravo wants to sweep here but Uno controlling him for the moment. Bravo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bravo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Uno tries to kick Bravo off but Bravo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bravo drops an elbow to the side of Uno's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Uno sees it coming and defends easily. Bravo is trying to control the action in half guard but Uno is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Uno makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Uno. Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Uno is retaining full guard. Uno keeping moving, preventing Bravo from controlling successfully. Uno preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bravo stops Uno from standing up. Bravo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Mahut Uno is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Uno's corner is telling him to maintain position. Uno trying to control the position from guard on top but Bravo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bravo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Uno trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Uno wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving. Bravo has his foot on Uno's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uno works his way back into a safe position though. Uno forces his way into half guard. Nic Bravo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Uno prevents Bravo from improving his position. Bravo wants to control but Uno is keeping busy.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nic Bravo. I think Uno has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
