The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wylde Rhoads circles away from the clinch attempt.

Wylde Rhoads closes the distance and clinches up with Hintschelder, looking for a takedown. Wylde Rhoads pushes Hintschelder against the cage but Hintschelder circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hintschelder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Wylde Rhoads counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hintschelder is breathing heavily. Wylde Rhoads is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hintschelder defends it well. Wylde Rhoads looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
