Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Kung Ki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zabunz Cucuia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Kung Ki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zabunz Cucuia! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cucuia tries for a takedown but Kung Ki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kung Ki tries to clinch up. Cucuia keeps the fight on the outside. Cucuia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kung Ki, pushing him back against the cage. Cucuia has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kung Ki is trying to keep an underhook but Cucuia manages to get the takedown into half guard. Cucuia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kung Ki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cucuia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kung Ki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kung Ki flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kung Ki is pressing down on Cucuia's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kung Ki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cucuia can do anything to dispel that myth. Cucuia tries to hold on but Kung Ki postures up. Cucuia is in a horrible position here. Kung Ki smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kung Ki lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cucuia hang on? Kung Ki wants to control the pace but Cucuia is squirming around nicely. Kung Ki has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cucuia's face.
Cucuia is rocked! Kung Ki lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cucuia is still in real trouble! Can Kung Ki finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Kung Ki there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kung Ki misses with a head shot. Kung Ki throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Kung Ki looking to ground and pound but Cucuia is blocking nicely. Cucuia seems to have recovered his senses. Cucuia tries to hold on but Kung Ki pushes him away. Cucuia is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Kung Ki loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Cucuia scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kung Ki land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kung Ki stands and salutes the crowd.
