Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Swackhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Marchegiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocco Marchegiano is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Marchegiano both land. Nice combination. Swackhammer is looking to score with low kicks. Marchegiano stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marchegiano wants it to stay on the feet. Marchegiano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Marchegiano leaves Swackhammer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Swackhammer fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Swackhammer. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Swackhammer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Marchegiano lands a jab to Swackhammer's midsection. Marchegiano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Swackhammer is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marchegiano slips under a jab from Swackhammer. Marchegiano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Marchegiano lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Micheal Swackhammer has been cut. Marchegiano connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Swackhammer momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marchegiano lands with a nice combination. Swackhammer backs away looking to recover. Marchegiano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Marchegiano connects with a nice cross there... Swackhammer is looking wobbly and Marchegiano recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Swackhammer to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Marchegiano jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
