Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lott fails to land with a series of punches.
Lott jabs at Animal's body.
Nice takedown defense from Lott. No joy for Animal on that attempt.
Lott missing with a left hand there. Animal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lott throws a right and a left that Animal avoids nicely.
Animal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lott avoids it really well and circles away.
Lott wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Animal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lott sprawls well. Lott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Animal gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Savage Animal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice body punch from Lott.
Lott lands with a shot to the body.
Lott throws a push kick but Animal slaps the foot to one side.
Jab, jab by Lott - just one landing.
Lott misses with a double jab.
Lott stuffs the takedown attempt from Animal. Animal gets slowly back to his feet.
Lott swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Animal.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lott connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Animal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lott lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lott lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Savage Animal has been cut.
Lott finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lott rushes Animal with punches - Animal moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Animal goes down! Lott follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronnie Lott!
