Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fat Craig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Gibson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fat Craig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Craig drives through with a takedown into guard. Craig controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gibson looking to control.
Craig has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Craig content to stall in guard here. Craig postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gibson trying to keep a closed guard but Craig is proving a slippery customer.
Gibson is trying to hold Craig in close to prevent damage but Craig has managed to pass into half guard.
Gibson is pressing down on Craig's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Craig wants to pass the guard but Gibson is keeping the position. Gibson controls Craig momentarily but Craig frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gibson is looking to sweep but instead, Craig has passed into half guard.

Craig scoring with strikes to the body and head. Craig is trying to control the action in half guard but Gibson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gibson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Craig scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Craig content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gibson is trying to maintain the position but Craig is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gibson is looking to improve his position.
Gibson manages to escape and get back to his feet! The fight stays on the outside here - Craig looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Craig swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Gibson. Gibson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Craig knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gibson looks gassed! Craig struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Craig is being controlled here. Gibson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Craig managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Gibson.
Gibson in side control, throwing shots but Craig defends. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Craig wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Craig is not content to let Gibson control the position. Craig tries to bench press Gibson off him but Gibson keeps the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gibson tries for a takedown but Craig circles away easily and Craig counters with a thumping low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Craig will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Craig bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gibson's head. Gibson slips a straight right by Craig. Gibson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Craig. Craig throws a head kick that misses. Craig is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gibson clinches with his opponent.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Gibson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Craig can't fight it off and eventually Gibson manages to take the fight to the floor. Craig looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gibson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Craig shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gibson as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but David Gibson will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gibson stuffs the takedown. Craig throws a combination that misses and Gibson counters with a shoot takedown. Craig fights it but they end up in guard. Craig not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gibson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gibson looking to pass the guard. Gibson looking to sit in guard and control but Craig gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gibson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Craig! Gibson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gibson prevents Craig from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gibson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gibson lands a heavy elbow. Craig really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gibson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Craig is looking to escape. Gibson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Craig kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gibson wants to control but Craig has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Craig might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Craig is looking to control Gibson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Craig avoid being mounted? Craig is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gibson pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice takedown defense from Craig. No joy for Gibson on that attempt. Gibson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gibson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Craig is rocked! Craig misses with a body shot.
Oh Craig is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gibson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Craig looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gibson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gibson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Craig is not content to let Gibson control the position. Gibson working the ground and pound. Gibson controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gibson has an Americana. Craig didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gibson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gibson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). David Gibson!
