Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiis DeKuyt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeKuyt has chosen Wynona's Big Brown Beaver as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hessu Hopo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jiis DeKuyt! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeKuyt scores with a jab. Hopo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. DeKuyt struggling a bit here. DeKuyt sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. DeKuyt wants to control but Hopo is keeping busy.
Hopo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. DeKuyt wants to get back to his feet. Hopo is keen to just control but DeKuyt is a slippery customer. DeKuyt is looking to control Hopo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can DeKuyt avoid being mounted? DeKuyt pushes Hopo off looking to stand but Hopo dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. DeKuyt misses with a hook. DeKuyt changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. DeKuyt goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Hessu Hopo has been cut. DeKuyt misses with a wild combination.
Hopo scores with a takedown into DeKuyt's guard. DeKuyt wants to stand and escape but Hopo is having none of it. DeKuyt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hopo! Hopo tries to hold on but DeKuyt postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopo is squirming around, avoiding DeKuyt's attempts to control the action. Hopo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hopo tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopo working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. DeKuyt tries to control but Hopo wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jiis DeKuyt dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hessu Hopo's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
DeKuyt fails to land with a series of punches.
Hopo walks into a left hand. DeKuyt thows a body shot but no joy. DeKuyt throws a hook to the side of Hopo's head but Hopo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hopo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. DeKuyt did well to prevent Hopo getting side control. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for DeKuyt. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. DeKuyt wants to get back to his feet. DeKuyt wants to control but Hopo is keeping busy.
DeKuyt is staying active underneath Hopo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. DeKuyt desperately trying to maintain half guard. DeKuyt trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hopo wants to take a breather but DeKuyt is having none of it. DeKuyt makes his way to full guard. A much better position for DeKuyt. Hopo with a flurry of punches that miss. Hopo stands and throws DeKuyt's legs to the side, diving into side control. DeKuyt tries to buck Hopo off but Hopo is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hopo working the body and head with strikes. Hopo landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. DeKuyt managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hopo.
DeKuyt manages to get back to half guard. Hopo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. DeKuyt manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopo is looking to work some ground and pound but DeKuyt has wrist control. Hopo is fighting to break DeKuyt's control of his arms but DeKuyt is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Hopo showing good wrestling skills to control the position. DeKuyt is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hopo trying to control but DeKuyt is working from the bottom. DeKuyt trying to keep a closed guard but Hopo is proving a slippery customer.
DeKuyt is adopting a defensive guard. Hopo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hopo stopping the sweep attempt from DeKuyt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hessu Hopo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hessu Hopo's cut. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
DeKuyt misses with an uppercut. Hopo saw that one coming. Hopo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hopo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hopo dodges the punch combination from DeKuyt.
DeKuyt looks to land a left hand but Hopo moved out of range nicely. Hopo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hopo in particular looking to stall. Hopo scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hopo looks to land a strike but DeKuyt avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Hopo throws a big right hand that misses. DeKuyt wants to sweep but no luck. DeKuyt looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hopo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. DeKuyt preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. DeKuyt is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hopo performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hopo is trying to control. DeKuyt wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hopo throws a strike but DeKuyt avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Hopo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. DeKuyt is keeping the position for now. Hopo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopo wants to control from the top but DeKuyt keeps moving. DeKuyt has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hopo has passed into side control.
Hopo controlling the position. DeKuyt is not content to let Hopo control the position. An elbow from Hopo crashes against the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. DeKuyt is looking for a sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. DeKuyt scores with a sloppy right hand. Hopo should have avoided that one. Hopo avoids the body shot from DeKuyt.
Hopo defending well as DeKuyt loads up on a big left hand. Hopo is trying hard to land a takedown here. DeKuyt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. DeKuyt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. DeKuyt throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hopo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hopo fails to land the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jiis DeKuyt. I think DeKuyt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
