Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kale Keloha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norm Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keloha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is POD - Alive. The key to victory for Kale Keloha has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Keloha looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bates connects with a good right hand that stumbles Keloha. Keloha circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Keloha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bates throws out the jab.
Keloha lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Keloha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bates closes this distance looking for a takedown but Keloha circles away.
Bates gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Keloha.

Bates is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Keloha can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
