Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fidel Brazimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Rum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fidel Brazimo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Red Rum! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brazimo swings for the body but Rum moves out of range.
Rum wants to clinch up but Brazimo keeps it at a distance. Rum wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Brazimo tries to bum rush Rum with a series of wild strikes but Rum uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rum throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brazimo counters with a two punch combo. Rum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brazimo.
Rum tries to sprawl but Brazimo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Brazimo thows a huge punch but Rum dodges it nicely.
Brazimo trying to control from half guard but Rum is working away. Brazimo looking for a submission but Rum manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Brazimo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rum wants to stand but Brazimo is controlling the position.

Brazimo trying to control the position from guard on top but Rum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brazimo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rum works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Brazimo trying to control but Rum is working from the bottom.
We're going to have a standup here because Fidel Brazimo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Rum tries to clinch and Brazimo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rum misses with a series of wild punches.

and Rum counters with a three punch combo that has Brazimo backing up. Brazimo nods at Rum to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brazimo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Rum shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brazimo napping and manages to drive through into side control! Brazimo can't do much from the bottom here. Brazimo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Brazimo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rum is trying to maintain the position but Brazimo is very close to passing his half guard. Brazimo not landing any meaningful shots this time. Brazimo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rum defends it well.

Brazimo is breathing heavily. Brazimo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rum because Brazimo loaded up on that one. Brazimo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rum is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rum is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Fidel Brazimo will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rum will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rum shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brazimo's guard. Brazimo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brazimo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rum keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brazimo's head. Brazimo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brazimo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rum can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rum postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rum missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brazimo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rum is pushing Brazimo's head away, looking to escape. Brazimo manages to hold on to the position though. Brazimo misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Brazimo fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Brazimo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rum keeps working. Brazimo tries for a kimura but Rum is defending well. Brazimo working the ground and pound but Rum is defending the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fidel Brazimo dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

enabling Brazimo to counter with a crisp jab. Brazimo lands a slapping body shot.
Rum throws a right and a left that both miss. Brazimo throws a nice looking combination but Rum bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Brazimo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rum scores with a hook. Brazimo takes a shot right to the bread basket. Red Rum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Rum. Rum takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brazimo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rum tries to clinch but Brazimo moves out of range. Rum throws a series of punches but Brazimo avoids them all with ease. Rum's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Rum duly obliges. Brazimo tries to keep at a distance but Rum has taken the fight into the clinch. Brazimo managing to block the knees to the body from Rum.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brazimo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Rum scores a nice knee to the body.
Rum gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Brazimo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rum defends it easily. Brazimo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
