The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDugan dives in and grabs Godwich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Godwich pushes down on McDugan's head and hops out.
Godwich scores with a kick to the midsection.
Godwich throws a series of punches but McDugan moves out of range.
McDugan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
