The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howards tries to close the distance and clinch up but Numb swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Numb needs to keep his hands up - Howards had a free shot at his head there.
Numb misses the shot to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Numb shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Howards wants to stand back up but Numb manages to pass into side control.
Numb working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Numb looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Howards is pushing Numb's head away, looking to escape. Numb manages to hold on to the position though.

Numb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Howards keeps working.
Numb is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Howards has escaped the position, nice work there.
Howards wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Howards tries to escape back to his feet but Numb has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Howards's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Howards is tapping! Numb saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
