Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey Phantom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drape Shorts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joey Phantom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Drape Shorts! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shorts tries to bum rush Phantom with a series of wild strikes but Phantom uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Shorts fails in his attempt to clinch. Phantom moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Phantom shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Shorts is trying to defend but Phantom finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Phantom throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Phantom is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shorts doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Phantom. Phantom content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Phantom's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phantom passes the guard and advances to mount! Phantom is working for a guillotine from mount but Shorts frees his head quite easily.
Phantom takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Phantom is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shorts can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Phantom controlling from mount. Phantom looking for a guillotine from mount but Shorts is having none of it. Phantom jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Shorts manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shorts is letting Phantom control him for a moment. Shorts is not content to let Phantom control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Joey Phantom. Shorts lands a jab to the head.
Phantom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Phantom is breathing heavily. Shorts lands an overhand right. Phantom takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good shot there by Shorts. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shorts throws a series of punches but Phantom moves out of range. Shorts lands the left hand. Shorts grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Phantom takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Shorts cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Drape Shorts!
