And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ereshenko shoots in but no luck this time.

Unity shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ereshenko napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Unity goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ereshenko rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Unity's guard! Nice work there by Ereshenko !
Ereshenko wants to pass the guard but Unity is keeping the position.

Ereshenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Unity has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ereshenko has managed to get both his arms back between Unity's legs - danger averted.
Ereshenko seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The Unity dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Ereshenko misses with a takedown attempt

and Unity counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Unity drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Unity jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Unity drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ereshenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ereshenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ereshenko !

Ereshenko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Unity knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ereshenko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Unity is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ereshenko wants to control for a moment but Unity uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Unity is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ereshenko pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Unity is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ereshenko is looking to take a break and control but Unity is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ereshenko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Unity has managed to free his arm - good work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Unity has gone for a leg lock! Ereshenko slips out almost immediately though and dives into Unity's guard.

Ereshenko drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ereshenko as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Unity screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ereshenko ! Nice submission victory there!
