Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Whittington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Hoko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hoko.
Whittington shoots for a double leg takedown but Hoko sprawls well. He's pushed Whittington's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Whittington closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Whittington lands a big elbow - Hoko is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Whittington!
