Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Korat Markezzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrik Filatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filatov swats away the attempt to clinch by Markezzi.
The fight stays on the outside here - Markezzi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Markezzi is looking to clinch.

Filatov rushes Markezzi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Let's hope that Filatov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and Filatov counters with a two punch combo.

Markezzi can't keep his opponent in guard - Filatov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Filatov wants the takedown. Markezzi is fighting it off but Filatov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Markezzi's guard against the cage.

and Filatov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Filatov is working for takedown but Markezzi is calmly controlling the position for now.
Korat Markezzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredrik Filatov.
Markezzi misses with a short punch on the inside.
Filatov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Markezzi walks away with a smile on his face. Filatov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Korat Markezzi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Markezzi closes the distance but Filatov moves to the side
and Filatov counters with a single leg into guard. Markezzi didn't expect that.
Filatov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Markezzi dives on top into guard.
Markezzi drops back looking for a leg! Filatov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Filatov manages to kick Markezzi off! Markezzi jumps back into Filatov's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Filatov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Filatov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Markezzi frees his head nicely. Oh but Filatov has switched to an armbar! Markezzi is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
