Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Popov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ah has chosen Drivin South as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ah keeps the fight on the outside.

Ah closes the distance and pushes Popov back into the cage.
Ah utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Ah comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Andrey Popov has been cut.
Ah has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Popov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Popov tries to break free but Ah pushes him back against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ah works his foot free and advances to mount.

Ah has control of Popov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Popov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ah postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Popov looks a forlorn figure.

Popov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ah cranks the arm and Popov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Popov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
