The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randel scores with a one two! Jenda had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Kurt Randel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jenda is defended easily by Randel.

Jenda sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Randel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Randel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Randel lands a left and a right that send Jenda crashing to the mat, dazed. Randel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jenda is rocked!

It looks like Magor Jenda has been cut.
Randel is looking to clinch but Jenda is avoiding it.
Oh Jenda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Randel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jenda seems to have got his legs back now.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jenda. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Randel throws a head kick but Jenda moves out of range.

Randel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jenda did well to prevent Randel getting side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Randel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jenda is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Randel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Randel's back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenda has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Randel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Randel is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Jenda off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Jenda looking to break Randel's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Randel remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Jenda will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
