Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Bandit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boxing Bandit! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Miller controlling from the full mount. Miller working away from the top, dropping strikes. Bandit tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control. Bandit tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bandit is in a horrible position here. Miller smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bandit has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Miller's lack of action.
Bandit avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miller. Bandit on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Miller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Bandit looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller trying to control the action but Bandit is working from the bottom. Bandit wants to get back to full guard. Bandit wants to get back to his feet. Miller working the head and body with strikes. Miller working Bandit over with strikes. Bandit wants to control but Miller is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bandit looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miller controlling the action here. Bandit blocking the ground and pound attempt from Miller. Bandit is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bandit tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Miller has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bandit working to try and regain half guard.
Bandit manages to regain half guard. Good work. Miller not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miller stops Bandit from getting back to his feet.
Miller is working for a submission of some sort.
Bandit on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Miller frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bandit is looking to get to half guard. Miller looking to secure an arm triangle but Bandit defends it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Miller dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Miller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Miller lands in his opponent's guard. Miller won't allow Bandit to sweep him here. Miller trying to control but Bandit is working from the bottom. Bandit bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miller's guard. Miller throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bandit trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Miller is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bandit wanted to stand there but Miller had control of the position. Miller wriggles free and stands up. Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Miller not doing much here.
Bandit moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller pushing down on Bandit's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bandit is not content to let Miller control the position. Miller wants to pass to mount but Bandit is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller blocks the strikes from Bandit.
Bandit wants to get back to his feet. Bandit is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miller scores with a couple of nice shots. Bandit missing with punches from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller lands strikes from half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bandit sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Miller is thwarting Bandit's attempts to control the position. Miller thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bandit to regain full guard. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Bandit is retaining full guard. Miller trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Bandit manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Miller is looking for a triangle but Bandit pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller trying to keep a closed guard but Bandit is proving a slippery customer.
Miller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bandit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bandit shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Miller prevents Bandit from getting back to his feet. Miller trying to control but Bandit is working from the bottom. Bandit is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Miller dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Bandit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miller was well out of range. Poor timing from Bandit. Bandit leaves Miller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bandit with a poor takedown and Miller counters with a shoot takedown. Bandit fights it but they end up in guard. Miller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Miller tries to free his leg and advance position but Bandit is retaining full guard. Miller wants to control from the top but Bandit keeps moving. Miller won't allow Bandit to sweep him here. Miller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bandit is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Miller looking to sit in guard and control but Bandit gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller is looking for a triangle but Bandit pushes his legs off easily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bandit misses with a low kick.
Bandit thows a leg kick but Miller checks it and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard. Miller sitting in guard here, content to control. Bandit is trying to control the position but Miller postures up. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Bandit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bandit is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Miller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bandit's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bandit's back! Miller keeps control of the position easily here as Bandit tries to buck him off.
Miller's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Miller is trying to stick to Bandit's back but Bandit is turning into Miller. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Miller's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bandit. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Miller holds on and takes a little breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Miller working for submissions but it's allowed Bandit to get to half guard.
Miller tries to get to full guard but Bandit has control of the leg. Ryan Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Miller is trying to control but Bandit passes into side control!
Miller is looking to regain half guard here but Bandit keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bandit tries for a kimura but Miller is defending well. Miller sneaks back into half guard. Miller is holding on to half guard well. Miller actively working from the bottom here. Bandit wants to take a breather but Miller is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
