Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Acme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pyro Mancer!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mancer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Acme landing with the ground and pound.
Acme postures up in Mancer's guard and throws a big left but Mancer blocks it.
Acme stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mancer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mancer keeping moving, preventing Acme from controlling successfully.
Acme trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Acme is working Mancer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Mancer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mancer wants to stand but Acme has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Acme is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mancer wants to control from the top but Acme keeps moving.

Mancer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Acme.

Acme shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Acme thows a huge punch but Mancer dodges it nicely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Mancer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mancer wants to control from the top but Acme keeps moving.

Mancer prevents Acme from getting back to his feet.
Acme might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mancer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mancer prevents Acme from getting back to his feet.

A close second round but Pyro Mancer will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Mancer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Acme can't control as he wanted to and Mancer manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Mancer has hold of Acme's hands but Acme slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Mancer is trying to maintain the position but Acme is very close to passing his half guard.
Acme wants to control but Mancer is keeping him busy.
Mancer wants to control but Acme is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Acme slips a nice elbow through Mancer's hands, connecting with Mancer's forehead.
Mancer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Acme wants to control from the top but Mancer keeps moving.
Mancer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Mancer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Acme has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mancer has his hands on Acme's head, controlling the position.

Acme throws a strike but Mancer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mancer is pushing down on Acme's leg trying to pass to half guard. Acme is fighting to maintain full guard but Mancer has managed to sneak the leg through.

Mancer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Acme is trying to get back to full guard.

Mancer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mancer slows the pace down in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

David Acme showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Acme has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
