Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mick Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and that guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). guy has chosen Little Drop Of Poison as his entrance music. Mick Scott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mick Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, that guy! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! guy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scott.
guy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Scott dives in and grabs guy's left leg, looking for a takedown. guy pushes down on Scott's head and hops out. guy loads up on a big right hand but Scott slips the punch. guy throws a series of punches but Scott avoids them all with ease. Scott swings and misses with a shot to the body and guy counters with a three punch combo that has Scott backing up. Scott nods at guy to acknowledge the strikes. guy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. guy misses the jab. Scott moves forwards but guy connects with a nice, crisp jab. that guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around guy's waist but guy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scott off to one side. A looping hook to the body misses from guy. Scott does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from guy. A telegraphed right hand from guy misses the target. Scott throws a half hearted mid kick. Scott throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. guy was covering up waiting for the punch and Scott finishes the takedown easily into guard. guy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Scott with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. guy controls Scott momentarily but Scott frees himself. Scott gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Scott ducks under a wild hook from guy. guy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Scott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? guy is fending him off so far but Scott persists. Nope, guy circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mick Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and guy counters with a lovely straight right hand! guy scores with a nice right hand.
Scott dives in and grabs guy's left leg, looking for a takedown. guy pushes down on Scott's head and hops out. guy throws a body punch but Scott moves out of range. Scott takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Scott fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. guy misses with a looping left. guy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Scott connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A big right from guy misses. guy slaps away a takedown attempt from Scott, before circling back to the center of the mat. Scott uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by guy.
Scott tries for a takedown but guy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. that guy seems to be getting the better of the standup. guy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Mick Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

that guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Mick Scott's cut. That's time! Scott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

guy controlling Scott's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott trying to control but guy is working from the bottom. guy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Scott drops back looking for a leg! guy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and guy manages to kick Scott off! Scott jumps back into guy's guard. Scott throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott trying to control but guy is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Scott fails with a takedown attempt. Mick Scott has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Scott tries for a takedown but guy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. that guy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mick Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. guy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scott. guy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Scott defending well as guy loads up on a big left hand. Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. guy tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag guy to the ground. guy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Scott. Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but guy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! guy avoids the head kick by Scott.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to that guy. I've got guy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
