Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuu Nobuyuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobuyuki has chosen The Warriors Code - Dropkick Murphy's as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mikey Powell looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

A big head kick from Nobuyuki and Powell is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Mikey Powell has been cut.
Nobuyuki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nobuyuki misses with a double jab.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Nobuyuki! Powell is out on his feet! Nobuyuki rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Powell is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Powell is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
