Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sandman by Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carter Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Johnson on the side of the head.
Johnson throws a right and a left that Carwin avoids nicely.
Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Carwin moves away and avoids it.
Good shot there by Carwin.
Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A big left from Johnson misses.
Carwin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Carwin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carwin misses with a looping right.
Carwin throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease.
Johnson throws a hook to the side of Carwin's head but Carwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch combination from Johnson misses.
Johnson connects with a nice looking jab.
Carwin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Carwin slips the punch.
Johnson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Carwin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Johnson!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson is trying desperately to improve position.
Carwin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Johnson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Carwin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson is trying desperately to improve position.
Carwin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Johnson is in all sorts of trouble here.

Carwin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Johnson in real trouble here! The ref calls for Johnson to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
