Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doutor Doc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brady Woodruff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodruff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doc's waist but Doc gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Woodruff off to one side.
Doc with a poor takedown
and Woodruff counters with a shoot takedown. Doc fights it but they end up in guard.
Doc is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Woodruff stands and steps away. Doc gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Woodruff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Woodruff holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Doc goes for a takedown attempt but Woodruff pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Doc fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Woodruff avoids it really well and circles away.

Doc tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Doc lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Doc.

Doc lands a left and a right that send Woodruff crashing to the mat, dazed. Doc thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
