Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pai Dad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and matt silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Dad. Dad gets slowly back to his feet.
An inside leg kick lands from silva.
silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dad's head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dad.
silva looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
silva throws a sloppy head kick and Dad moves out of range easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dad.

Dad moves into the clinch.

silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dad manages to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dad looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dad swats him away and circles back towards the center.

silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dad is looking to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
silva lands a high kick!
Dad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by silva.
silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Dad is just out of range.
silva leaves Dad with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dad avoids it really well and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Pai Dad will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

silva lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dad will feel that in the morning.
Dad clobbers silva with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dad shoots in for a takedown but silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

silva throws a leg kick which misses Dad's front leg but catches the back leg as Dad tries to avoid it.

and silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Dad is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Dad counters with a shoot takedown. silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dad tries to stand but silva is controlling from the bottom.
silva utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dad has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of silva is proving hard to escape from.
Dad looking to sit in guard and control but silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

silva is thwarting Dad's attempts to control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

silva escapes and gets back to his feet.
Dad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
silva takes a swing at Dad's ribcage but misses.

Dad shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

That's time! Dad's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Dad lands a nice shot to the body.
Dad takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

silva is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dad rather than just go for the knockout.

silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Dad trying to control the position from guard on top but silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dad is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Dad won't allow silva to get back to his feet.
Dad wants to pass the guard but silva is keeping the position.
Dad has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dad stands up and waves to silva to follow him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dad shoots in looking for a takedown. silva tries to sprawl out of it but Dad keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
silva lands with a thumping leg kick.
silva throws a nice head kick!
silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dad.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dad.

silva drives through and clinches with Dad against the cage.
silva tries to circle away but Dad has him pinned against the cage.
silva has had enough of the clinch but Dad keeps him there for the moment.
Dad is working for takedown but silva is calmly controlling the position for now.

Dad tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. silva smiles and moves away.

Dad stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from silva.
silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Dad counters with a single leg into guard. silva didn't expect that.

silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dad is controlling him.
silva is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Dad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pai Dad showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dad, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
