Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jed THE GOAT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Billburry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). THE GOAT comes to the cage accompanied by Static X-Dithouse. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Billburry! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! THE GOAT misses with a few strikes there.
THE GOAT looks to score with a jab to the body but Billburry is just out of range. Jed THE GOAT seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Billburry circles away from the clinch attempt.

THE GOAT tries to close the distance and clinch up but Billburry swats him away and circles back towards the center. Some wild striking there from THE GOAT.

THE GOAT tries to clinch but Billburry is having none of it. Billburry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Billburry lands in his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. THE GOAT pulls Billburry in to control the position. Billburry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

and Billburry cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. THE GOAT closes the distance but Billburry moves to the side and Billburry counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in THE GOAT's guard now. THE GOAT is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Billburry throws a strike but THE GOAT rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. THE GOAT wants to control from the top but Billburry keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Billburry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Billburry lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for THE GOAT!

That's one minute gone in the round. THE GOAT is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Billburry's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Billburry's back! You can see the frustration on Billburry's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
THE GOAT wants to control the position but Billburry frees himself and scrambles - THE GOAT manages to regain control in side control.
Billburry is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. THE GOAT landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. THE GOAT trying to control the action but Billburry is working from the bottom. THE GOAT stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Billburry looks to land a left hand but THE GOAT moved out of range nicely. THE GOAT throws a combination that misses and Billburry counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Billburry wants to work for an arm triangle but THE GOAT is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
THE GOAT is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Billburry passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for THE GOAT! THE GOAT defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Billburry. Daniel Billburry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! THE GOAT's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

THE GOAT won't be happy with that. Billburry working away. Billburry is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, THE GOAT has escaped the position, nice work there. Billburry tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Billburry is fighting to break THE GOAT's control of his arms but THE GOAT is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. THE GOAT is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. THE GOAT looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Billburry passes THE GOAT's left leg - he's now in half guard. Billburry is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for THE GOAT!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. THE GOAT tries to hold on but Billburry pushes him away. THE GOAT gets back to half guard. Daniel Billburry has got the better of the ground game so far. Billburry works his way into side control. Billburry tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. THE GOAT is working to avoid the ground and pound but Billburry connects with a decent elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Billburry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Billburry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
