Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Yu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Yu!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu misses with a few strikes there.
Bruce misses with a wild body shot.
Yu scores with a sloppy right hand. Bruce should have avoided that one.
Yu avoids the body shot from Bruce.
Bruce fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice uppercut there from Yu.
A punch lands to the side of Yu 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Yu misses with a few strikes there.
Yu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bruce is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bruce gets underhooks to prevent Yu's takedown attempt.
Yu is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Joseph Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Yu.

Yu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Yu drops an elbow to the side of Bruce's head.

Bruce pushes Yu off looking to stand but Yu dives back in and keeps control.
Yu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yu scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Yu in particular looking to stall.
Bruce keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Yu throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Bruce stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Yu follows into mount!

Bruce is rocked!
Yu lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bruce hang on?
Oh Bruce is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Yu unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Bruce wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Yu celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
