With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Phil Stone!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mellark thuds his right hand into Stone's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mellark lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


It looks like Phil Stone has been cut.
Mellark throws a head kick that Stone semi-blocks.


Stone is rocked!
Mellark scoring well with a low kick there.
A jab from Mellark misses.
Mellark throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stone.
Mellark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stone blocks a head kick by Mellark.
Mellark turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mellark looks for the body kick but Stone saw that one coming.
Mellark uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stone has time to react.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mellark throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease.
Stone is looking to chop away at Mellark's legs.

Stone avoids the body shot from Mellark.
Mellark scores with a jab.
Stone avoids the head kick by Mellark.
Mellark misses with a leg kick.
Peeta Mellark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mellark.
Mellark lands with a kick to the temple. Stone shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Stone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mellark.
A slow jab from Stone misses its intended target.
Mellark tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stone swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A low kick from Mellark is predictable there
and Stone counters with a low kick, right behind Mellark 's knee.
Mellark misses with a combination

and Stone counters with a flying knee that drops Mellark!


Mellark is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stone gets to his feet and stands over Mellark, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mellark felt that one! Stone unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mellark from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil Stone!
