Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaromir Jag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaromir Jag is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ichabod Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaromir Jag! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jag as he avoids it easily. Crane attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Jag fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Jag as Crane shoots in. Jaromir Jag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jag doesn't manage to clinch there - Crane circles away.
Jag misses with a looping right. Crane is looking to land body kicks. Crane is looking to clinch. Crane wants to clinch and Jag holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jag tries to work over Crane's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Jag missing with knees to the body.
Jag prevents Crane from breaking the clinch. Crane is pushing Jag up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crane wants to break free but Jag has control.
Jag gets underhooks to prevent Crane's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ichabod Crane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crane tries to score a body lock takedown but Jag shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Crane looking for a takedown.

Jag looks to clinch and Crane counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jag scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jag closes the distance and clinches. Crane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jag walks away with a smile on his face. Crane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jag looks to clinch and Crane counters with a two punch combo. Jag checks the leg kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crane. Jag rushes Crane and presses him up against the cage. Crane pulls guard successfully.
Crane is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jag is controlling him. Jag stands up and waves to Crane to follow him. This has been an exciting period of action! Crane misses with a takedown and Jag counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jag lands an uppercut. Jag goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jag just stands there and leans against the cage. Jag is stalling here.

Jag breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crane shoots in and drives through. Jag sprawls well. Jag tries to clinch up and Crane counters with a straight right hand. Jag lands a head kick. Crane smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Jag throws a jab but it's blocked by Crane. Jag avoids the head kick by Crane.
Crane wants to clinch but Jag slips to the side and Jag holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jag has Crane pushed against the cage. Jag stops a takedown attempt from Crane.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crane has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jag avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Crane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jag walks away with a smile on his face. Crane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jag fails with an attempt to clinch.

Crane has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Crane tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jag just stands there and leans against the cage. Crane wants to break free but Jag has control.
Crane has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jag is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Crane is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Crane tries to pull guard but Jag holds him up against the cage and eventually Crane drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Crane changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jag fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Crane tries to clinch and Jag counters by clinching up. Jag is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Crane is defending well for now. Crane has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jag avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Crane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jag has him pressed against the cage. Crane fails to pull guard.
Jag misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Crane.
Jag tries to throw a body punch but Crane avoids it by throwing Jag back against the cage. Crane swings wildly with an uppercut but Jag uses good head movement to avoid it. Crane drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Crane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jag forces Crane back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaromir Jag dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jag is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Crane is defending well for now. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jag just misses with a elbow thrown towards Crane's brow. Crane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Crane misses with a hook from the clinch. Crane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jag walks away with a smile on his face. Crane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Crane tries to clinch there but Jag circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Crane looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crane tries to close the distance and clinch but Jag swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jag swats away the attempt to clinch by Crane. Jag clinches with his opponent.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jag is struggling to control the position. Crane tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jag is trying to maintain a safe position but Crane gets an underhook and turns Jag into the cage. Crane just leaning against Jag, taking a breather. Jag trying to land knees to the body.
Jag throws a knee to the head but misses.

Jag wants to clinch and Crane counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jag leaning his opponent against the cage. Jag wants to get back to striking at distance but Crane won't allow it.

Jaromir Jag showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Jag tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Crane dives in and grabs Jag's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jag pushes down on Crane's head and hops out. Crane fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Crane tries for a takedown but Jag sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ichabod Crane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jag misses with a low kick.
Crane rushes Jag and presses him up against the cage. Jag putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Crane in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Jag is pressed up against the cage. Crane has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jag down to the mat. Jag avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Crane takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Crane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jag sprawls well. Jag wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crane gets slowly back to his feet. Jag closes the distance but Crane moves to the side and Crane counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jag's guard now. Crane trying to control but Jag is working from the bottom. Jag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jag manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Crane doesn't manage to clinch there - Jag circles away.
Crane doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jag moves into the clinch. Crane avoiding damage as Jag throws knees to the body.
Jag stops a takedown attempt from Crane.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jag walks away with a smile on his face. Crane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jag tries to clinch up but Crane circles away and keeps his distance. Jag plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jag darts in trying to clinch and Crane counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jag lands a damaging elbow. Crane wants to break free but Jag has control.
Crane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crane circles away from the clinch attempt and Crane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jag won't be happy with that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crane tries to advance to mount but Jag instead regains half guard. Jag kicks off Crane and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jag closes the distance but Crane moves to the side and Crane counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Crane wants to control from the top but Jag keeps moving. Jag is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Jag misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Crane works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Jag utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jag uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Crane looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jag tries to clinch but Crane moves away and Crane counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jag's guard now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crane looking to pass the guard. Crane won't allow Jag to get back to his feet. Crane trying to control but Jag is working from the bottom. Crane stops Jag from standing up. Crane wants to get up but he can't break Jag's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Crane in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Crane drives through and clinches with Jag against the cage.
Ichabod Crane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Crane tries to land knees in the clinch but Jag avoids the damage to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Ichabod Crane showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jag has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
