Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Beebus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beebus comes to the cage accompanied by I'm about to WHOOP yo ACE!. Roberts is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - For Whom The Bells Toll. Dave Beebus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Roberts lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Beebus tries to move into range but Roberts moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Beebus is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Beebus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roberts did well to prevent Beebus getting side control.
Beebus uses his free foot to push down on Roberts's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Roberts.
Beebus swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Roberts is now in Beebus's guard. A big mistake from Beebus there, giving up the dominant position!
Roberts wants to stand but Beebus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Roberts is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Roberts gets to his feet - Beebus follows without any prompting.
Roberts jabs Beebus right on the nose. Beebus blinks but takes it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
