Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan Hawk has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rampage Jackson! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Hawk shows good takedown defense. Hawk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hawk working some strikes from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson trying to control the position.
Jackson wants to stand up but Hawk is controlling him. Hawk controlling from the top position. Hawk is pushing down on Jackson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jackson is fighting to maintain full guard but Hawk has managed to sneak the leg through. Hawk gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Hawk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jackson is holding on to half guard well. Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk wants to stand up but Jackson has a hold of him and won't allow it. Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hawk is working away from the top position though. Hawk stalling. Jackson looking for submissions off his back. Hawk content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hawk has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hawk sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jackson is trying to escape the mount.
Jackson has left one of his arms exposed and Hawk doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Jackson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bryan Hawk!
