The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolf throws a shot to the body.
Macdonald looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Macdonald walks into a stiff left hand from Rolf.
Rolf stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Macdonald takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rolf lands a head kick. Macdonald smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rolf throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Macdonald stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rolf connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Macdonald momentarily.

Rolf wants to sweep here but Macdonald controlling him for the moment.

Macdonald wants to get up but he can't break Rolf's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Rolf has his hands on Macdonald's head, controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Rolf counters with a good low kick that Macdonald was not able to check.
Rolf lands with a kick to the temple. Macdonald shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rolf has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rolf closes the distance and pushes Macdonald back into the cage.

Rolf lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Macdonald!

Let's hope that Rolf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Macdonald has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rolf to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Macdonald is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rolf pulls down on the head and he's put Macdonald to sleep! This one is all over!
