Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Hieron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinicius K R (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
K R avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
K R throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hieron tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
K R checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hieron lands a jab to the nose.
Hieron throws the kick towards the body but K R avoids it.
K R shoots in but Hieron avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hieron dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
K R swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hieron scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

enabling Hieron to counter with a crisp jab.
Hieron fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Some bone on bone action there as K R checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hieron goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Hieron lunges at K R with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by K R's hand.
Hieron lands the left hand.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
K R is trying to drag Hieron to the mat but Hieron just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
K R wants a takedown but no success here.
Alexander Hieron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vinicius K R.
K R tries to pull guard but Hieron won't allow it.

Hieron fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches K R on the side of the head.

K R postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hieron looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Hieron that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hieron tries to hold on but K R postures up.
BOOM! K R connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hieron is in a horrible position here. K R smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

K R can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hieron is looking to escape.

Hieron is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
K R controlling his opponent.
K R breaks from Hieron's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Hieron is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
K R lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
K R is landing with some decent strikes but Hieron is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

K R throws a right and a left that Hieron avoids nicely.
A punch combination from K R misses.
Hieron misses with a few strikes there.
K R fails with the takedown
and Hieron counters with a two punch combo.
Hieron throws and low kick but K R moves out of range easily.
K R shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hieron as he jumps to the side.
K R drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Hieron tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hieron tries to work over K R's front leg with a kick but K R checks it.

Hieron looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? K R is fending him off so far but Hieron persists. Nope, K R circles away and we're back to standing.
K R shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hieron's guard.

K R lands a couple of decent looking shots.
K R slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hieron is trying to control K R's posture but K R avoids it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
K R is putting a hurting on Hieron here, landing some big shots from side control.
Hieron takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Hieron knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for K R on the ground.

K R cracks Hieron with a big elbow.
K R looks up at the clock and then as Hieron takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, K R smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

K R scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hieron to see if he's OK.
K R lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hieron down.
K R takes a little break here. Hieron wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Hieron on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hieron tries to get out of the position.

K R is working to tighten is grip on Hieron's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hieron has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but K R is really squeezing tight and eventually Hieron passes out! K R breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
