Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noe Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Mcmannus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcmannus has chosen Right Now as his entrance music. Yuri Mcmannus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noe Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Mcmannus! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcmannus bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Moore's head. Mcmannus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mcmannus shoots in for a takedown but Moore shows good takedown defense. Yuri Mcmannus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moore shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mcmannus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Moore slips a nice elbow through Mcmannus's hands, connecting with Mcmannus's forehead. Ground and pound from Moore. Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcmannus on the ground. The fighters are battling for position here. Mcmannus manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Mcmannus looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcmannus, not yet. Moore throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Moore trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Moore postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mcmannus keeping moving, preventing Moore from controlling successfully. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Moore darts in and clinches Mcmannus up against the cage. Moore lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mcmannus backwards. Moore lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mcmannus backwards. Mcmannus is trying to stall.
Moore throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Moore lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A frustrated look appears on Moore's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mcmannus has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A head punch blocked on the inside by Mcmannus. Moore tries to break free but Mcmannus pushes him back against the cage. Moore lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Mcmannus jumps guard.

Moore has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mcmannus throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Moore makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Moore. Mcmannus gets to his feet - Moore follows without any prompting. Mcmannus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Moore bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mcmannus moves forwards but Moore connects with a nice, crisp jab. Mcmannus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moore sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Mcmannus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A punch lands to the side of Mcmannus 's head but he takes it in his stride. Moore listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Mcmannus slips a jab and a cross from Moore.
Moore stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Mcmannus misses the shot to the body. Moore misses the jab. Moore scores with a jab. A jab from Moore misses. Mcmannus gets caught flat footed, as Moore shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Moore keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mcmannus's head. Mcmannus wants to stand up but Moore is controlling him. Mcmannus controls Moore momentarily but Moore frees himself. Moore connects with a couple of short punches. Moore cracks Mcmannus with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Moore is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mcmannus. Mcmannus avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Moore is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mcmannus moves out of range as Moore strikes. Moore clobbers Mcmannus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Mcmannus darts in trying to clinch and Moore connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mcmannus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moore. Moore throws a big shot that misses. Mcmannus lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mcmannus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Moore counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moore. Noe Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Mcmannus. Moore is trying to break the clinch but Mcmannus has him pressed against the cage. Moore has a couple of punches blocked by Mcmannus.
Mcmannus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moore just stands there and leans against the cage. Moore lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Mcmannus is trying to break the clinch but Moore is controlling him. Moore has had enough of the clinch but Mcmannus keeps him there for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moore lands with a short head shot on the inside. Moore lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mcmannus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moore keeps working. The ground and pound from Mcmannus seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Mcmannus wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy. Mcmannus misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Moore is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mcmannus stands up and we're back to a striking position. Moore lands with a hook. Mcmannus tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcmannus's guard. Moore thows a big elbow that misses. That was a close second round but I would say that Noe Moore will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Mcmannus takes one to the chin there. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Moore here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Mcmannus shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Moore napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mcmannus trying to control the position but Moore is working away. Moore is in the full mount, landing strikes. Noe Moore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mcmannus in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Moore keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mcmannus's efforts to push away. Moore wants to break free but Mcmannus has control.
Yuri Mcmannus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Noe Moore is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mcmannus just misses with a elbow thrown towards Moore's brow. Mcmannus struggles to land a body shot inside as Moore controls his hands.
And that's the end of the fight! Yuri Mcmannus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Moore has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
