PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Cricket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BCE POBHO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BCE POBHO told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cricket tries to close the distance and clinch but POBHO swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cricket lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends POBHO sprawling to the canvas. Cricket follows him down, looking for the kill. Can POBHO hang on?

It looks like BCE POBHO has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Cricket, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jimmy Cricket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
