Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Fintch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaurbek Khadartsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fintch comes into the arena with A Nation Acrobat blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Zaurbek Khadartsev enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harold Fintch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zaurbek Khadartsev! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fintch dives in and grabs Khadartsev's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khadartsev pushes down on Fintch's head and hops out. Fintch fails with the takedown. Khadartsev has his takedown stuffed and Fintch moves into the clinch. Khadartsev breaks the clinch.
Khadartsev closes the distance and clinches. Khadartsev is trying to force a seperation but Fintch has the dominant position. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Khadartsev breaks from the clinch.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Fintch - that will leave a mark!
Fintch throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fintch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Khadartsev counters with a shoot takedown. Fintch fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harold Fintch. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Khadartsev postures up in Fintch's guard and throws a big left but Fintch blocks it. Khadartsev loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Khadartsev sitting in guard, not really doing much. Khadartsev looks gassed! Khadartsev trying to control the position from guard on top but Fintch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fintch is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Khadartsev is controlling him. Khadartsev is fighting to break Fintch's control of his arms but Fintch is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Fintch tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fintch trying to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Khadartsev looks to clinch and Fintch counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Khadartsev's guard now. Fintch decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Khadartsev, up you get! Fintch shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fintch was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fintch tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fintch prevents Khadartsev from getting the reversal. Fintch looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Khadartsev tries to hold on but Fintch postures up. Fintch scoring with strikes but Khadartsev is staying in there. Fintch is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Khadartsev can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fintch wants to control the pace but Khadartsev is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fintch landing strikes from the mount. Khadartsev can't escape the position.
Fintch avoids the attempt from Khadartsev to control. Fintch looking to control and managing it successfully. Fintch lands a big elbow. Fintch landing shots from mount. Fintch lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Khadartsev hang on? Fintch fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khadartsev wants to control but Fintch is having none of it. Khadartsev is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Fintch is staying active. Khadartsev is working to get back to half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fintch lands a big elbow. Fintch controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harold Fintch dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Khadartsev gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fintch to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fintch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fintch wants to stand but Khadartsev has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Khadartsev seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Fintch trying to control but Khadartsev is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Khadartsev wants to stand but Fintch is controlling the position. Fintch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fintch trying to control but Khadartsev is working from the bottom. Khadartsev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fintch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Khadartsev avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fintch trying to control but Khadartsev is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fintch shoots and misses and Khadartsev counters with a solid body kick. Fintch shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Khadartsev as he avoids it easily. Zaurbek Khadartsev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khadartsev decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Harold Fintch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fintch is trying to maintain the position but Khadartsev is very close to passing his half guard. Fintch is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Khadartsev scores with a couple of nice shots.

Fintch is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Khadartsev's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Khadartsev's back! Khadartsev defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Khadartsev trying to get back to his feet but Fintch is in full control for now. Fintch cracks Khadartsev with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Khadartsev from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Khadartsev grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Khadartsev holding both Fintch 's hands and preventing any damage. Fintch is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Khadartsev. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Khadartsev is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Fintch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Khadartsev trying to control the position but Fintch manages to sink in the hooks. Khadartsev has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Khadartsev is in bad spot here.
Fintch lands an elbow to the side of the head. Fintch tries to keep control of the position but Khadartsev is staying busy. Khadartsev grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Fintch biding his time, controlling Khadartsev. Fintch keeps control of the position as Khadartsev tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harold Fintch dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Khadartsev throws a leg kick and Fintch makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Khadartsev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fintch was covering up waiting for the punch and Khadartsev finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fintch manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fintch avoids the attempt from Khadartsev to control. Fintch tries to control but Khadartsev wriggling away. Fintch looking to control and managing it successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fintch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Khadartsev manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khadartsev is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Fintch working the head and body with strikes. Fintch lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Khadartsev down.
Khadartsev wants to get back to his feet but Fintch is dominant here and he's now got Khadartsev's back! Fintch lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Khadartsev tries to escape but Fintch has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Khadartsev wants to get back to his feet. Fintch biding his time, controlling Khadartsev. Fintch scores with punches to the body. Fintch wants to control but Khadartsev is keeping busy. Khadartsev just trying to survive but Fintch is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Fintch lands strikes to the head. Fintch tries to get the hooks in deep but Khadartsev pushed the leg off. Khadartsev is covering up but some of the strikes from Fintch are getting through and doing damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Khadartsev tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Fintch lands a nice shot to the head. Fintch looking to control but Khadartsev is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Fintch looking to control and managing it successfully. Khadartsev working to try and regain half guard.
Khadartsev is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fintch looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Fintch lands a big shot there that rocks Khadartsev but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Khadartsev takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fintch punishing his opponent with strikes. Fintch trying to control but Khadartsev is having none of it. BOOM! Fintch connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee warns Khadartsev that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Zaurbek Khadartsev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harold Fintch is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fintch is landing with some decent strikes but Khadartsev is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that's the end of the fight! Harold Fintch showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fintch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
