Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Covalent Minibar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edson de Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minibar comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. de Souza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by No Love. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Souza moves out of range of the body kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
de Souza missing with knees to the body.
Minibar jumps guard but de Souza stands there with Minibar around his waist. Minibar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
de Souza throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
de Souza misses with an elbow strike.
de Souza lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Covalent Minibar has been cut.
A frustrated look appears on Minibar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Minibar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. de Souza just stands there and leans against the cage.
de Souza misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Minibar.
Minibar has had enough of the clinch but de Souza keeps him there for the moment.
de Souza has Minibar pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. de Souza pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Minibar tumbling to the mat - de Souza dives into Minibar's guard.
Minibar looking to hit a scissor sweep but de Souza is one step ahead there.
Minibar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Minibar is looking to stand up but de Souza isn't so interested in that idea.

de Souza won't allow Minibar to sweep him here.

de Souza forces his way into half guard.
de Souza passes into side control, despite Minibar's attempt to control the position.
de Souza is looking to take a break and control but Minibar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Minibar is trying to get back to half guard.
de Souza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Minibar keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
de Souza passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Minibar!
de Souza trying to control but Minibar is having none of it.
Minibar working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
de Souza swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
