The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bag tries to clinch up but Crixus circles away and keeps his distance.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bag shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crixus pinned against the cage. Crixus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Crixus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bag tries a head kick but it misses.
Crixus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bag counters with a three punch combo that has Crixus backing up. Crixus nods at Bag to acknowledge the strikes.

so Crixus counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Bag shoots for a double leg takedown but Crixus sprawls well. He's pushed Bag's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Andy Crixus is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bag tries to bum rush Crixus with a series of wild strikes but Crixus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Crixus, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
