PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kung Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Etim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Etim has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Etim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Pow moves into the clinch.
Etim swings wildly with an uppercut but Pow uses good head movement to avoid it.
Etim wants to get back to striking at distance but Pow won't allow it.
Knees to the body from Pow.
Pow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee calls for Pow to work.
Etim jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pow walks away with a smile on his face. Etim gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Etim fails with a takedown attempt.
Etim looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kung Pow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry Etim.
Pow lands a head kick. Etim smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Pow darts in and clinches Etim up against the cage.

Pow blocks an uppercut.
Etim doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pow landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Etim looks gassed!
Pow lands a good knee to the midsection. Etim won't want to take too many of those.

It looks like Terry Etim has been cut.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Pow connects with a nasty looking knee right to Etim's face.

Etim is still on wobbly legs! Can Pow finish him?
Pow jerks Etim's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Etim drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Pow goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Pow because Etim was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
