Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Higginsworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higginsworth comes to the cage accompanied by Mr. Grinch. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Derek Higginsworth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jimmy Train! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Train shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Higginsworth defends it nicely. Train tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Higginsworth swivels and escapes. Higginsworth throws a head kick that half lands.
Nice sprawl there from Higginsworth as Train shoots in. Derek Higginsworth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Train. Train pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Some bone on bone action there as Train checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Higginsworth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Train throws a chopping leg kick but Higginsworth manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Higginsworth misses with a low kick. Higginsworth throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Train's head. Train takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Train slips under a jab from Higginsworth. Train chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Higginsworth can pounce on him.
Higginsworth throws a head kick but Train moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Higginsworth, as that shot connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. Higginsworth moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Train stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Higginsworth. Train looks gassed! Higginsworth lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Higginsworth misses with a head kick.
Higginsworth lands a big head kick that sends Train tumbling to the mat! Higginsworth takes a step backwards and waves Train back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Train is rocked!
It looks like Jimmy Train has been cut. Higginsworth throws a leg kick which misses Train's front leg but catches the back leg as Train tries to avoid it. Derek Higginsworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Higginsworth misses with a head kick.
Higginsworth throws a nice inside leg kick. Higginsworth lands a big head kick that sends Train to the canvas! Higginsworth follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derek Higginsworth!
