Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, ISAIAH ELLIOTT!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Conway!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. ELLIOTT tries to avoid it but Conway manages to keep hold of a leg and drag ELLIOTT to the ground. ELLIOTT escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
ELLIOTT misses with a body kick.
ELLIOTT with a poor takedown
and Conway counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
ELLIOTT falls off balance throwing a combination
and Conway counters with a crisp one two that drops ELLIOTT! Conway thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves ELLIOTT to his feet! ELLIOTT is in big trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conway throws a right and a left that ELLIOTT avoids nicely.
ELLIOTT tries to close the distance and clinch but Conway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
ELLIOTT tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Conway paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Conway counters with a crisp one two that drops ELLIOTT! Conway thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves ELLIOTT to his feet! ELLIOTT is in big trouble!
ELLIOTT is rocked!
Conway fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Oh ELLIOTT is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and ELLIOTT moves into the clinch.
ELLIOTT seems to have got his legs back now.
ELLIOTT really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Conway lands a right hand.
ELLIOTT has Conway pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. ELLIOTT pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Conway tumbling to the mat - ELLIOTT dives into Conway's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Conway wants to stand but ELLIOTT is controlling the position.
ELLIOTT is breathing heavily.
ELLIOTT is posturing up here but Conway has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! ELLIOTT tries to roll out but it's too tight and ELLIOTT has to tap! Slick submission there by Conway!
