Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Park!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, king kong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Park thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Park looks up at the clock and then as kong takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Park smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Park throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! kong escapes and throws Park's legs to the side, diving into side control!

kong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Park keeps working.
Park tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Park pushes kong away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, kong gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Park is refusing to be controlled, as kong sits in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fight stays on the outside here - kong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
